I earned an honors B.A. in music from Harvard in 2023, and cross-registered at MIT in math and computer science. I started teaching in college, as a teaching assistant and peer tutor, and I’ve been tutoring for about five years now: ISEE and SAT prep, math through calculus, sciences, and college essays, including with Kiss Your Brain and Elite Ivy Tutors. I work with students in New York City and online.
I started BH Tutoring to offer the best test prep, tutoring and academic coaching I know how to give: student-centered teaching, backed by good technology and clear progress tracking, with respect and understanding first. Families should get what they pay for. That’s why everything here is built around what tutors and students need, so everyone is set up to learn.
Students have described me as “chill, but makes you think and learn.” I’ll take that. I try to be fun to work with, and to really understand each student.
